Can I walk with a stroller?

Jogging strollers only please. Otherwise, the group gets really stretched out.

Can I walk alongside my little?

Accepted Answer

Your littles generally pace to you, so if your walking, they'll ride at a walking pace. If you feel like you must be on foot, please lace up those running shoes to help keep the group together.

Question 3

Do I need a helmet?

Accepted Answer

We ask that all participants in our rides wear a helmet.

Question 4

Is this a good opportunity for my little to learn to ride a bike?

Accepted Answer

We ask that your child ride the bike that they can confidently ride a mile. Still learning to ride a pedal bike? Maybe dust of that balance bike for one last ride or expect to head back on the sidewalk via E Capitol before the turn around at 6th St.

How long are the rides?

It depends on the event. But expect the ride + event to be 1.5 to 2 hours with frequent stops.

Who can participate?

Our events are focused on Capitol Hill, but all can participate

Question 7

How old should my child be to ride their own bike?

Accepted Answer

Unlike our standard monthly rides, this ride is targeted to children ages 3-6. Older siblings are welcome to ride along, but we ask that they either stay behind or ride alongside their younger sibling(s).

Question 8

Can I ride a scooter?

Accepted Answer

We ask that everyone participating ride a bicycle. Balance bike, trike and training wheels are  encouraged for the Littles Ride)
